Clam Box in Brookfield

Love the sea food we had the haddock and french fries in clam fritters was all great tasted yummy. And sitting outside with picnic tables with umbrellas on them they were very professional and cleaning them after people left. Will go again.

First time to The Clam Box. The food was excellent. Ordered a fishburg sandwich and fries, whole belly clams. Everything was fresh and tasty!

The place is a throwback to the old fashioned New England clam bar. You'll love this place if you're craving fried seafood!!

First time we visited the food was great! The second time, the food was not so good... seems like they most likely didn't change the grease, portions we're smaller, the fries were soggy and the salad was drenched in dressing. Some of their young staff could use some training on how to take an order and how to be more pleasant with their customers.

Very friendly staff and delicious seafood and other food. Also take their preparations for Covid-19 very seriously in these trying times.

I went early so I could beat any rush. They forgot to make my milk shake so when my order was ready it wasn't. Had to wait for the shake. The order was to go. The meal, fried clams, was ok - not great. I look forward to fried clams they are expensive so I eat them probably 2 times a year. The clams were a bit tough. Everything tasted good. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but I have had better. Would I go back again? Yes I would.

Great clam chowder, awesome lobster rolls(wicked) and ice cream. Must visit if you love seafood.

Best take out meals we have had during covid-19 lock down. Whole belly clams and sea scollops diner and shrimp and steak tips diner were exceptional on Mother's Day. Staff from phone order to curb side pick up were super friendly. Great job Clam Box. Much, much better now than a few years ago.

went for the seadfood platter and was disappointed. more like a French frie platter. easily 80 percent was French fries. 1 small piece of fish. hardly any clam strips and tiny scallops. at best there was 5 dollars worth of seafood and was charged 27. wont be getting my business again. 👎👎

Great seafood and ice cream. They even have a bar. Inside and outside seating. Just be aware that they are cash only. There is an ATM inside

This was our first time there. Very good service and very good food. It was nice to sit outside and have someone bring your food out to you. Then you leave your tray and they pick it up after you leave. Great job.

Delicious seafood at a great price.

Absolutely best little eatery I've been to in a while. It wasn't a planned stop. Was driving to another place my family found online while we were in Brookfield and on the way we saw this place and it called out to us! Best decision we made! EVERYTHING we ordered was so good! We had whole belt fried clams, Bay Scallops, Lobster Roll, and fried pickles! It was so amazingly good. Loved the environment... There was inside seating, deck seating, and picnic tables!! Staff was curtious & all smiles. Good came fast as well. We will definitely take the 40 minute trek from where we live to come back there just for this restaurant. It was like being ocean-side. Four stars. We were impressed.

Very elegant and convenient place. They serve generous meals and for reasonable prices. We loved the meals very much and the staff members were super amiable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this place.

We purchased a home in the area in the last year. We had tried other clam box locations and had been satisfied however this location is by far the best. The food is great, staff is friendly and the lounge area is clean and comfortable.

We love this place but last time someone else had bought it and we needed to pay cash was no prepared for this. Have to go a long way to get there what a waste of a trip. Also they did away with the discount cards been using them for years. No incentive to rush back at this time

Excellent food & terrific service!

The food was very good, the prices are high. I get its sea food... But it's still kind of crazy. It was very clean. The seating and ordering situation is kind of confusing. Not sure if it was an off day, or if it it always like that. The bathrooms.... Very stinky, also kind of confusing to find. Ok, back to the food.. VERY large amount of food. Have left overs for days. I'm not complaining at all. Just wish it didn't cost so much. We will go back, just left people know they gotta pay for themselves. It was also hard to get someone's attention to get a cup of water.

The owner is fabulous and she works her buns off. The clams and fish are delicious. The beer and cider on tap were good. Our lunch stop a lot of fun for two tourists from San Diego.

Too pricey, for the product we got!!! Clam chowder had no clams, lots of potatoes, and bacon. Lobster roll Not available, only warm lobster on a large grinder roll! For $14.99, I'd rather buy my own lobster, or go to Howard's in West Brookfield!!! Never again, you lost my business forever!!!

Great experience. Here twice in July... Can't get enough! The lobster mac & cheese is amazing. Also great fish fry & clam rolls. Huge portions. We usually grab a couple things to share & still bring home leftovers. Also a great beverage menu. If you love seafood you won't be disappointed!!

Excellent lobster rolls....get the larger option. Sweet potato fries were crisp and delicious. Deep fried pickles were great too...they give you a huge portion!!

It was actually really good. I don't know if it's under new management. But the place looked great. The food was awesome. The fried lobster chunks were the bomb! I'll definitely be going back there again. The place is old. It's been there forever. But the place looks great & great food

1st time we ate here this year and not good very small portions asked for a cheese burger well done and it was not even medium done 9very disapointed we will not be back they use to have the best seafood i will go the extra to holyoke schermerhorns

Go to place for seafood! Clam strips and fried haddock are always on point. The breakfast is also amazing. The quiches are very cheesy and the Belgium waffle was bomb!

I write my reviews in a fair light. I don't go to a counter service establishment and expect concierge grade services.That said the Clam Box gets 5 stars for the food we got on 8.27.17.Large portions, very large portions. Seafood was clean tasting, light breading, cooked in fresh clean oil. Tarter sauce was good. Coleslaw was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The prices were reasonable. Will definatley be back.

Since new owners took over this busines last year the seafood is absolutely delicious! We go there at least once a week, the fishburger is gigantic and the clams, scallops and sweet potato fries are my favorites! Wait staff is awesome!
